Celestia Awards 2025 Nominee Announcement Event
The Celestia Awards 2025 Nominee Announcement Event was successfully held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Royal Hotel Conference Room in Monrovia. The afternoon was filled with excitement, anticipation, and celebration as industry stakeholders, artists, and vetting committee members gathered to witness the official unveiling of this year’s nominees.
The event marked another major milestone on the road to the Celestia Awards 2025, themed “Legacy in Motion.” This year’s edition celebrates the generational impact of gospel and inspirational music, honoring pioneers of the past, celebrating today’s influential voices, and spotlighting emerging talents shaping the future.
More than 500 nominations were received from across Liberia and the diaspora, reflecting the continued growth and recognition of the nation’s vibrant gospel scene. Following a thorough review and vetting process, nominees were shortlisted across 26 categories, including Best Male Artist, Best Female Artist, Best Collaboration, Producer of the Year, and Song of the Year, among others.
In attendance were representatives of the Vetting Committee, LAGMA (Liberia Association of Gospel Musicians and Artists), media partners, and other creative stakeholders, all sharing in the excitement of this year’s unveiling.
The event also served as a platform to reaffirm the Celestia Awards’ mission of promoting excellence, unity, and innovation in gospel music, while building stronger industry collaborations for the future.
As the countdown to the grand awards night continues, the public voting phase is now officially underway via MTN USSD (*456*20#). The final winners will be determined through a combined score of 70% public votes and 30% vetting committee evaluation.
